I bet Matsuzaka can't sing. If so, Toei did a great and good thing by not having him sing the image song anyway. I've heard what happens when you force someone who can't sing to do character image songs anyway and it's really, really ugly.

Psh. There have been MANY sentai character songs where they couldn't sing. Off the top of my head, I can think of DekaRed's, MagiRed's, and MagiGreen's. They were horrid. I wish he would have done it either way. I hate his song right now.

Plus, Genta isn't all that great either. The song, yes. His voice? Not amazing.

I really hate character image songs featuring singers who can't sing. It always sucks. I'd prefer almost any other approach.

For instance, Saint Seiya had Make-Up write and sing all the image songs even though most of the seiyuu could sing. I listen to the Make-Up version of Nebula Chain one hell of a lot more often than I'd listen to a crappy Ryo Horikawa version.

Maybe he should take Jii's suggestion in the finale and get singing lessons while he's at it with guitar lessons. :P
